A welcoming, innovative entry and technology display space were the objectives for remodeling the front entry/enclosed conference room of the Bossard North America headquarters located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Necessities include incorporating the new branding/marketing elements while using some design features from other Bossard locations.
Bossard is among the market leaders in fastening technology in Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. Bossard is a global network of companies with more than 1,800 employees in 50 countries and carefully selected international partners in all regions of the world. With this reputation for excellence, they wanted an entrance and lobby that projected the successful and global status they have worked so hard to attain. Although the existing space did not have the option to increase square footage or increase ceiling height, the design team was determined to give the client the entrance they had envisioned.
Glass walls, perforated metal, laminate wood floor, carpet tile, and white walls provide the background for the newly remodeled reception/display area. The space offers a welcome area featuring a reception desk that contains the Bossard “O” logo in floor plan. A ceiling feature made of curves, perforated metal and blue lights direct guests from the open entry to the intimate collaboration space. Open display space with mobile kiosks allow for easy reconfiguring for specific client needs. A private glass conference room and glass display area separates the open office area from the new reception/display.
